By sketching out the idea, students could introduce their ideas easily and vividly. But to gain a good sketching skill, student have to practice a lot. Every sketch will cost a lot of time and effort. What's more, one sketch would not change a lot on the skill level. But once a day would make big changes, the only way to get a better result is to keep going.

This image captures an exercise happening in Theatre 170, which is the Fundamentals of Acting 1. The students are doing an impulse exercise, while listening to music. Each student changes their pose in an specified order. They continue to change their poses following each other until the song is complete.

Technology has grown rapidly and one of the biggest perks of that is flexibility in learning. Today, almost all learning happens online and on computers.

Learning management systems like Blackboard Learn provide most of the resources required to prepare for exams or to complete assignments online. And with wireless internet systems constantly getting better across campus, there are no limits to where one can study. This not only makes learning more time effective, but also saves a lot of paper that goes into books and submissions. This picture depicts a student working on assignments in-between classes. With a campus this beautiful, studying on the quad instead of studying indoors is refreshing and also stress relieving.

Group work is an integral part of learning and something every student experiences at some point. Not only does it help students learn from one another, it also helps them develop team working skills- something that becomes critical once they enter their respective industries.

This photo shows four students working on a group project for a finance class. What I like especially about this photo is that it shows the different types of personalities in each group; the leader, the helper, the silent worker, the procrastinator, and the no-show, which is why this photo looks really relatable.

Stacked

by Param Shah

Each student studies very differently. Some prefer studying alone while others prefer studying in groups. Some prefer studying with some noise while others prefer studying in complete silence.

This photo shows just some of the various studying spaces that the Undergraduate Library provides the students, with a goal to cater to each learning personality. There are study tables, group study booths, couches, and individual tables available for the students and they have been incredibly useful to me over the past four years. Additionally, the UGL also has resources like the gaming center where students can take a break in-between study sessions.
